Who we are

Wisconsin Roofer Index ("we," "us," or "the Site") is an online directory of roofing companies that serve Wisconsin. The Site is operated by Wisconsin Roofer Index. We are not a roofing contractor, and we do not perform, supervise, or guarantee any roofing work. We are not a licensing or certification body.

Information on the Site

Listings are provided for general information only. Business details such as names, phone numbers, services, and service areas come from the businesses themselves or from publicly available sources, and may not always be current or complete. We do our best to keep listings accurate, but we can't guarantee it.

Listings are not endorsements

Appearing on the Site, including in a "Featured" spot, does not mean we recommend, certify, or vouch for a company. Featured and paid listings are sponsored placements that a business has paid for. They are not a ranking of quality.

Hiring a roofer is your decision

You are responsible for choosing and vetting any contractor you contact through the Site. Before hiring, we recommend that you:

• Verify the contractor's Wisconsin Dwelling Contractor credential at licensesearch.wi.gov
• Ask for proof of liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage
• Get at least three written estimates and a signed contract before work begins
• Read independent reviews and ask for local references
• Avoid paying the full project cost up front

Any agreement you make with a contractor is strictly between you and that contractor.

Paid listings for businesses

Businesses can choose a free listing or a paid monthly plan. Paid plans renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time by contacting us at wiscrooferindex@gmail.com. After cancellation, or if a payment fails, your listing stays live through the end of the paid period and then returns to a free listing. We do not guarantee any number of calls, leads, clicks, or search rankings from any listing. We may edit, decline, or remove any listing that contains false, misleading, or inappropriate information.

Corrections and removal

If you own a listed business and want your listing updated or removed, email us at wiscrooferindex@gmail.com and we'll take care of it promptly.

Links to other websites

The Site links to websites we don't control, including contractor websites and government resources. We aren't responsible for their content or practices.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Wisconsin Roofer Index and its owners are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Site, from any work performed or not performed by a listed contractor, or from any errors or omissions in a listing. The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Continuing to use the Site means you accept the current terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Wisconsin.
